@alippai - we run it ourselves in non root mode, doesn't `apt` support that out of the box. hmm. it may already work but not documented. good point on nixpkgs....

@Imaclean74 - we will be adding instructions on github on how to download it. basically should be `PLATFORM={x86, arm} VERSION={...} curl http:`-style curl for folks to download it. cc: @ivotron
