CI builds are currently broken due to https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd-src/commit/6cafdee71d2b23e8ec95d1f128b0e11f103491bb
headline says `hw_tls` but the change is to `isipv6`
@brooksdavis I found that both BSD tar and GNU tar fail to create the link in this case. As far as I can tell this issue existed before hard link...
I think @cemeyer's proposal is decent, but will need someone to push it forward.
