You are correct. Most users are GrapheneOS users, because the app store is available for them. It has some features that f-droid does not have.
Security: Signed repository metadata App signing key pinning Name verification

Thanks for the links. I've evaluated this and currently I don't think it's worth to maintain a submission in this additional store, as I can see that development goes on slowly and there not many apps in the store. If things change, in the future I will evaluate this again

This is incredibly niche. I don't believe that this is worth the effort, when F-Droid exists.
