Hi. Sorry for the late reply. Currently editing split transactions will only edit the specific transaction and not the root transaction. It should not merge / delete any transaction.

The bug is inconsistent though. If you were to wait a couple of seconds for the dashboard to load, it wouldn't crash. Odd bug

I have only seen this bug in debug builds. It's really hard to replicate it

It happens probably 1 in 20 times?

Hi. I have tested on the largest font setting on a Nexus 6 and I can't replicate your issue. 

 From your first screenshot, your budgeted is 0. That is why Budget shows 0 in the app.
