Can we abstract an universal helm-edit-mode?

  • We hava already had helm-ag, helm-gtags, helm-swoop, and etc. These packages all need to edit sometimes for the search result.
  • Some packages implement an edit-mode, but some don't, moreover, they have different behaviors.
  • So, can we abstract an universal helm-edit-mode to cover all the edit things?

Also, IMHO, the helm-ag-edit-mode is the best implementation, and I copy the codes to create a helm-gtags-edit-mode for personal usage. But I think we had better to create an universal helm-edit-mode, then we don't need to copy codes everywhere.
