get the overlay content/view it in a dedicated buffer

Hello,

I don't know whether this is already possible or if it is a feature request.

I am using overlays to display the results inline in code-cells. I can toggle them but I am unable to using S-RET as stated in the README, however I am unable to search or copy their content. How can I copy the overlay content or view it on a dedicatet buffer?
