Reproduction steps/expected behavior with vanilla demo

  • Start Emacs
  • Open an org buffer with an image that is the same size as the entire buffer
  • display image with org-toggle-inline-images
  • C-d and C-u past the image
  • notice that the image never comes into view well
  • C-z to go to vanilla emacs mode
  • C-v and M-v past the image to see how it allows the entire image to center in the buffer and feels correct
