Klingon ships keep firing and losing energy

When ships fire, they lose energy, and when energy is 0 ships are destroyed. This is also true for the Enterprise but the player will never be so stupid to fire all the energy and remain with 0 energy, also because a part of the energy is normally assigned to the shields. Since Klingons don't have shields, they keep firing until their energy is 0, basically killing themselves, even if the Enterprise is not firing. Besides, Klingons lose energy much faster compared to Enterprise. They should be smarter than this.
