Fluctuating pattern isn't accurate at all

There was a 100% chance of this week being a fluctuating pattern. But then I entered the price of today it said small spike 100%. Not useful if I get little to no profit because I sold my turnips thinking I was lucky to get rid of them with a markup when I could be selling them for 150% of the original price
