Looks like Elvish is unmaintained??
It's not unmaintained, but xiaq recently started a new job and has not had much time to work on Elvish recently.
Development has indeed been a little slow recently. But many of us are committed to Elvish for the long haul and are keen to see the development pace pick up again.
In the meantime, enjoy what's already working! 😊
