Yes, that might be correct then @ config.txt being best. My suggestion would still be to enable it by default, but you'll probably get tons of voices (as above) disagreeing....
For what it's worth, it works under GNOME 40.3 Wayland for me with an Intel GPU. So this might be some graphics driver dependent issue.
Well currently, `.gitattributes` overrides can only name languages that *exist* / are already known to linguist. Others are dropped in the final stats, this is both the case on GitHub...
