"Instance Hopping": See local timelines for supported instances

While not all instances allow non-authenticated users to see their timelines, many do. Having a feature that would allow you to see these timelines would be really helpful, both for people who are interested in checking out another instance before switching and for users to mastodon whose interests cover several different instances. The japanese Mastodon client Kurotodon has this feature implimented, though the design is a far cry from the elegance of Elk.zone.

This would be fantastic, I have multiple accounts just to make it easier to browse the timeline of other instances. Would love to not have to do this
