Show an indicator for new items when on another tab
Clear and concise description of the problem
It would be nice to show an indicator on the "Home" tab when new items arrive and you're on another page, say the Settings page. I believe this is already done for notifications, but it would be nice to have a configurable option for the same behavior for the home tab.
