True black dark mode

I personally prefer a true black dark mode, similar to Twitter's "light's out" mode.

Suggested solution

#000 background color, either as a configurable option in the interface tab of settings, or just as the default dark mode.

Alternative

I can use Stylus for desktop, but not when installed as a PWA on my phone.

Elk looks great! I really appreciate that it's built as a PWA. :)

Would love to see this as an option by default as well. A true AMOLED black background mode for Elk. For AMOLED screens all apps doing this help save a tiny bit of battery power for your phones.

Right now I'm using a greasyfork/tampermonkey script I wrote to override and do this manually but I can see it being a default option or setting to make this available to more users.

Even something as simple as adding ?color=amoled to the url get arguments.
