Jame's shadow is still multiple pieces of different brightness

I was watching one of the project update videos and there was a mention of this issue:

I thought this was fixed some time ago (shadow should be a single piece) but playing the latest version early in the game i noticed it's still there.

Ah, ok, i remembered wrong then, i thought the shadow became a single piece in the whole game.

Having said that, there are a few things the remaster changes from he intended behavior so they look better. I assumed this would be one of those things since fixing the shadow (in every area) wouldn't have any negative consequence since it doesn't mess with the art direction of the game.

I believe the idea was to simulate capsule shadows.

Having it be a solid stencil shadow like the HD Collection would break this illusion. We would have to do it the same way Silent Hill 3 does it, assuming that's even possible. And if it was possible then I assume we would've done it already.
