Link to annotation does not scroll to the highlight in the PDF

If I link to a specific annotation in another note the link opens the pdf but does not scroll to the Annotation. It also shows all my annotations on the right side and not only the one that was linked in my file.

Sorry for the dumb question, but how do you link to a specific annotation in another note? Do you use [[filename^block_code]] from the source annotation file (I have the same issue when I do so)?

By the way, the same issue can be observed when you try to navigate your tagged annotations through the tag tree.

I do it kinda like that. I use [[filename^ "and then I search for the highlightet text or my annotation and just hit entert " Most of the time i also add text that will be displayed in reading mode. [[filename^blockcode | text displayed]]

similar issue, but in my case Obsidian doesn't even open the PDF or the note that contains it when clicking on "show annotation", let alone scroll to the specific annotation.

I use [[filename#^block_code]]. It display filename > ^block_code in reading mode. This can work. I clicked this link and then active page move to the annotation in the pdf.

i spent a lot of time testing, and indeed tried use adv obs URI to copy the block's link and paste in onenote,

yes it worked when clicking from an obsidian note which is on read mode

BUT it didn't work when the click is from onenote.

make the link useless.
