elementor 🐞 Bug Report: Unable to delete Elementor form submissions

Prerequisites

[X] I have searched for similar issues in both open and closed tickets and cannot find a duplicate.
[X] The issue still exists against the latest stable version of Elementor.

Description

Unable to delete Elementor form submissions

Steps to reproduce

When I try to delete one on more submissions I get this eror message :

" Something went wrong, please try later "

Isolating the problem

[X] This bug happens with only Elementor plugin active (and Elementor Pro).
[X] This bug happens with a Blank WordPress theme active (Hello theme).
[X] I can reproduce this bug consistently following the steps above.

Same issue here. This is the first time I tried to trash/delete a submission. Everything is up to date. Elementor Pro.

I had the same issue with not being able to remove form submissions. I did a lot of testing including disabling plugins to see if they interfered. It turns out that my caching plugin "LiteSpeed Cache" was getting in the way. I disabled it for the test and removing spam submissions worked.

Same here, I cannot trash the (spam) submissions. I don't have any cache plugin. The XHR request return a 405 error on /wp-json/elementor/v1/form-submissions/{submission_id} "The requested method DELETE is not allowed for this URL."

This could be also a server-side issue.

After trying to trash a submission please check the browser console for JavaScript errors.

If you see something like below (there's DELETE and 405 Method Not Allowed) it means your server has blocked Elementor HTTP Delete request. And that means you must contact your hosting provider to allow DELETE HTTP method.

DELETE https://YOUR-SITE.COM/wp-json/elementor/v1/form-submissions/222 405 (Method Not Allowed)

I decided to give that a go to see what happens. I added DELETE to the IIS verbs and that didnt resolve it, but then I gave my web config to AI and it suggested adding DELETE to the PHP Handler and that worked.

I'm not sure if it was both changes or just the latter, but applying both can't harm anything.

Not sure if this code example will post, but I'll try:
