After wake from suspend, panel is translucent even when window is maximized

The title basically covers the issue: I suspended my PC for some time. I turned it back on, logged in, and I noticed that the panel is now translucent all the time. Normally, it should turn black (dark grey?) when there is some app maximized. Btw, after waking up the PC, there was already some app maximized, if that helps in any way.
