Spotify crashing Elementary (odin) wingpanel (elementary OS 6.1 Jólnir)
What Happened?
Wingpanel crashed when Spotify is launched. A black frame appears around the wingpanel. All functions of wingpanel disabled. Restarting /re-installing wingpanel does not resolve.
Appear to be related to updates in the last two weeks (6.1???).
Steps to Reproduce
- Open spotify
Expected Behavior
Appears to a re-introduction of a known bug in loki but resolved on odin.

Dell Optiplex 980 ssd 7.6GB ram
Did Wingpanel upgrade to version 3.0.2? Hard to tell because the AppCentre reports version 3.0.2 but the 'What's new' reports 3.0.1.
Spotify Flatpak still not upgraded but the crashing of Wingpanel (3.01 / 3.0.2) still happens - albeit now the Wingpanel takes up to two minutes to load up at boot.
System wide crashing launching Spotify occurring since upgrade to Odin 6.1 has been stopped - limited now to just Wingpanel
