Unable to turn wifi on [$50]
If I turn the wifi off and then want to turn it on again it doesn't work from the indicator. I need to open Network Settings and turn it on from there.

What does "unable" mean? Is the wifi card not displayed in the indicator? Is t displayed but you can't click the toggle? Is there no toggle?

I have the "Wireless" toggle but it doesn't turn on if I click on it. Also the toggle is more white than the toggle of other indicators,as if I'm not allowed to switch it. However I can turn it off if I was using wifi previously.
My wifi works perfect, is just that toggle.

I have the same problem, i can turn off my wifi by using the toggle, but can't use the toggle to turn in back on. I have to go to the network settings to turn it back on.

I've made modified deb package, where I bypassed the hardware_locked check. Now it works. Maybe you should add some setting to ignore the hardware lock state if the machine is reporting it incorrectly.

This bug seems to have a easy fix found by Martin (uzivatelmp) and I suffer from it daily.
Just wondering why haven't a commit been made. Should I do it myself?
A proper fix is probably more involved than removing a check. My guess is that removing this check could result in crashes
Same bug here. Would be great to see this resolved. This is the kind of operation that people do on a daily basis.
Same bug

@fabiozaramella That's a different bug. Since this issue just happens with the wifi switch as @jvalle3 shows. The lan switch works as intended.
Thank you @Maccer1 it has been reported in #71
Same issue in Elementary OS 5.0. Please fix it
How is this still a thing? It didn't work in Loki two years ago and it's still not fixed now? C'mon guys!
Edit: The downvote is not nearly as frustrating as this issue being still unfixed.
I've downvoted you because you are being a dick. The elementary team is working on their free time doing a operating system without expecting anything in return. You can't come here demanding that they solve anything. They work for themselves, not for you.
If are in a hurry for a feature you can donate some money to create a bug bountie or just learn to code and solve the issue yourself, that way it may get fixed faster.
