Ethernet indicator offline even if connected

OS 0.4.1 Loki Linux 4.4.0-134-generic GTK+ 3.18.9

I usually plug my IoT boards (Raspberry, UDOO, Beaglebones etc.) with USB and their dhcpd manages a local network between the PC and the board. In the panel indicator, this connection is "Wired/Cabled" and it's offline. Clicking on the slide doesn't work.

In network settings, instead, I have a "Ethernet" device, connected (green) with IP, mask, router etc. Here the slide is on (blue) and I can turn the interface off.

In my case the interface is enp0s20u2
