Connectivity Issues from connecting to device from top os menu

Open Tbusk opened this issue 7 months ago • 0 comments

What Happened?

There seems to be an issue with connecting to any Bluetooth device from the upper menu bar which also has notifications, wifi, sound, and settings. Connecting to Bluetooth there does not work and produces an error message.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Hover over the Bluetooth Icon on the default upper menu in the top right corner.
  2. Click on a paired but not already connected device (e.g., headphones) to connect.

Expected Behavior

The expected behavior should mirror that of the main area in settings and connect to a Bluetooth device. That area works fine.

This is what shows in the logs when connecting via settings:

May 17 10:47:57 G kernel: input: Galaxy Buds3 Pro (BFDA) (AVRCP) as /devices/virtual/input/input19
May 17 10:47:57 G systemd-logind[1198]: Watching system buttons on /dev/input/event18 (Galaxy Buds3 Pro (BFDA) (AVRCP))

OS Version

8.x (Circe)

Session Type

Classic Session (X11, This is the default)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)

Log Output

May 17 10:34:31 G systemd[2406]: Reached target bluetooth.target - Bluetooth.
May 17 10:34:32 G kernel: Bluetooth: hci0: ACL packet for unknown connection handle 3837

Hardware Info
