Airplane mode seems to disable wired network, too

What Happened?

I usually use airplane mode to reduce power consumption when I am traveling. However, sometimes I work on small IoT projects using wired Ethernet with my laptop. In that case it is counter productive when the wired network goes off just because I enable airplane mode.

Steps to Reproduce

Enable airplane mode

Expected Behavior

Wired network is not disabled (at least not without explicitly confirming that it should be) For the average user that should be no difference. just keep the wired network on. When nothing is plugged in (which I guess will be the most common case for an average user), no additional power should be consumed anyways

Another possible solution might be to have three states to toggle through with the airplane mode:

  1. Normal operation (everything on: wifi, bluetooth, wired)
  2. only wireless off
  3. everything off

OS Version

7.x (Horus)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)
