Combobox → Dropdown

Is there not a simple way to bind dropdown to a gsetting? :sweat_smile:

I guess you would use Settings.bind_with_mapping and the selected_item property?

I tried this and the labels read OK. However, the dropdowns do not trigger the screenreader when the selection changes.
