Middle Click to Paste gets reset to true on restart

What Happened

After restarting Elementary OS 5.1.7 Hera, my setting for "Middle click to paste" gets reset back to being true. inside of switchboards it is displayed as false yet even so middle clicking is pasting.

Expected Behavior

The setting should not reset.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set middle-click to paste to false
  2. Restart
  3. Middle click pasting will work even with the setting being visually being set to false
