Settings Caps Lock to "caps lock acts as additional super" prevents setting new custom shortcuts using the super key

Open elementaryBot opened this issue 8 years ago • 1 comments

When the Caps Lock is set to "caps lock acts as additional super" in the options tab, it causes new keyboard shortcuts that use the regular "super" key to always set to "Super L". It does this immediately when the super key is pressed, and does not wait for additional keys to be modified.

In order to properly modify shortcuts again, It requires changing Caps lock back to default, set the shortcut, then setting caps lock back to an additional super.

It's worth noting, that when "caps lock acts as additional super", the cap's lock key actually registers as a normal super key according to the shortcuts page, where as the actual super key registers as "Super L"
