Add Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl + P for printing

Open its-mXc opened this issue 5 years ago • 1 comments

Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl + P can be utilized for directly printing the image, as the current option requires two clicks to get to the dialog box. Also can we move the print option from other actions to directly in context menu ?

+1. While this issue seems relatively small, it contributes to the feeling that elementary OS is not as polished as it could be.

  • I want to print a picture, so I open it and hit Ctrl-P like I can do on every other OS I've tried. Nothing happens.
  • I look for a Print button, none.
  • I look for a File or other application menu, none.
  • I right click the photo, still no immediate Print option.
  • Finally I shuffle through the submenus and find it.

I don't feel I should need to go through this many layers for basic functionality, and it doesn't feel in elementary OS's mission to have to do so either.
