Files created and/or opened through flatpak apps are not visible in recent tab. (This is in Odin).

I created a presentation and word files using LibreOffice download through Flatpak. But the files are not shown in the Recent tab. The issue is similar to files opened or created through other Flatpak apps.

This is a bug in LibreOffice, since it doesn't use the file chooser portal to open files.

The problem is with every Flathub applications I am using on EOS 6. For example, create a file using GIMP download through Flathub. Now open and close the file. Logically the file should appear in Recent folder, but it does not.

I don't think GIMP uses the file chooser portal either.

Many legacy apps haven't been ported yet.

Essentially, the flatpak sandbox isolates each files recently used manager. The app either needs to map to the host recently used database (harder) or needs to use the file chooser portal.
