Can't paste images in Mail
It would be nice if pasting images from the clipboard would work. Currently the only way to insert images is to save them first and use the Insert Image button.

Hey @neofight I would love to look into this for you! I just want to let you know ahead of time that the version of Mail shipped in Hera is no longer receiving updates. So any work on this feature will be available in elementary OS 6 and beyond
@noefight wanted to comment with an update about my findings here! At the moment, the new version of Mail doesn't yet handle attachments at all. So of course this is required work before we can handle image pasting. I spent some time last week getting up to speed on the status of the new Mail, reviewing and merging some outstanding branches, and fixing conflicts in some other branches.
I have a branch here for adding attachments support that is not yet ready for review. I'm working on getting myself up to speed with how this part of Camel (the Evolution mailing library) works and so far I think I have a good idea of the direction to head in. I'm going to need to spend a little more time on this before it's ready to be merged in.
