What are the pros and cons? Would it mean relying on a third party to do the actual building? Right now their website is just hanging constantly, which does not inspire confidence.

I know for a fact that we can self-host OpenBuildService, so there'd be no actual outside dependency past what we already have with APTly. Obviously if OpenSUSE are using it there is the potential to have a more stable system through that collaboration, but it will also include a load of build recipes I assume we have no interest in supporting.
