"Switch User" not working

The "Swithc User" functionality is not working. Of course, it is working for the first time. And from second time onward, accepting password & getting back silently to the login screen.

I have this same problem; "Switch User" doesn't work whilst using the nvidia proprietary driver. When switching to the open-source driver, it works.

What's your configuration?
