Wallpaper takes a few seconds to load

After the recent update, when the greeter is displayed, for about a second the background is black, and then my wallpaper is loaded.

@Djaler the Greeter has been significantly changed: https://github.com/elementary/greeter/pull/181 Could you try with this new (unreleased) version?

@peteruithoven I can confirm this issue still happens to me with the latest master branch (commit 36b34fb977e4ec3f58a2a059aadb2cf5017734c0).

Here is a video I took:

I think you can see that there are black screen only with a mouse pointer after authorized for a few seconds.

I'm on elementary OS 5.0 Juno with latest updates, fresh installed. CPU: Celeron G3900 RAM: DDR4-2133 4GB Storage: 1TB HDD

Thanks for sharing that video! But... looking at the video this black background shows after the greeter. Or do you also notice this in the Greeter itself, in that the image in the box is loaded delayed? Maybe we need to move this to Gala, that's the window manager which loads the background.

@peteruithoven Ohhh, I'm sorry but I was completely misunderstanding the issue. What I talked about was the black screen after logged in, while this issue is about the one when the Greeter is shown.

However, IIRC I've also faced this issue (which is the right one) before. And as far as I tested in my system, this issue seems to be no longer reproduced for me. I uploaded another video:

@ryonakano could you maybe open a new issue at http://github.com/elementary/gala/ ? Seems like this issue was something specific for the old Greeter. Please include your first video, that really clarifies things.
