Files does not continue to copy other files when one file cannot be copied

Hello everyone

What Happened

I was copying a local backup to my SMB share via the files app. However, due to a connections timeout, some files would not copy (but the connection itself seemed OK but just the files might be too big or too many transfers simultaneously?) But also, the other items I pasted in that folder would not continue to copy while that dialog is open.

I'm aware that this is the default behaviour on most programs - and I wonder what the actual reason for this is.

Consider a situation where you want to copy some files from your laptop or any other devices over shortly before you want to leave (traveling will be a thing again :D), start the file copy and leave your PC for an hour to do other things you need to do, hoping that the PC will finish the copy while you are not working on it. In case that happens then, you have to decide to postpone your departure so that the remaining files can finish copying - or leave with an incomplete copy - possibly resulting in a data loss in case you had no other backup already.

Expected Behavior

If a file cannot be copied, show the dialog in the screenshut, BUT, keep continuing to transfer the other files in the background. Also, on a timeout, an automated retry mechanism would be great.

Steps to Reproduce

Copy some large files over network resulting in a timeout.
