Dock slowdown on multiple monitors

What Happened?

When I connect a second monitor to the Laptop (Thinkpad P14s), the Dock component starts to suffer a slowdown in its animations, both that of appearing and disappearing and in the selection of pinned applications.

On startup it appears only slightly slower, but as I open applications it seems to suffer from these, although the PC does not show excessive use of its hardware.

Steps to Reproduce

I set the Dock to be present only on the main monitor, the laptop one

1. Boot with the second monitor plugged in via USB-C and lot into main account
2. Start one or two applications
3. Dock performance starts to slow down

Expected Behavior

The Dock component should work smoothly, with no slow animations.
