Switch to dark map when using dark style
Not sure if this is possible or feasible, but it would be nice to use a dark map here.

It should be possible to select a custom tile set. It would probably be worth trying to find a nice matching dark and light tile set

Not sure what the compatibility is
On Google Maps it's possible to set the map style through a json, I suppose that it's possible on OSM too.
I've found this: https://www.thunderforest.com/maps/transport-dark/, not very nice though
There's another dark style available here: https://userstyles.org/styles/173774/openstreetmap-dark-theme This one doesn't seem nice as well, anyway there's a CSS button from where I assume that the style can be downloaded. Maybe it can be a good starting point from who's interested into making a dark theme.
Looks like GNOME maps is using MapBox for tiles and has a dark mode. So that might be a good place to look
