Backend.App has its own launch method here: https://github.com/elementary/applications-menu/blob/master/src/Backend/App.vala#L105

But Synapse also has a launch method: https://github.com/elementary/applications-menu/blob/master/src/synapse-core/Actions/RunnerAction.vala
