Show hidden apps on search

In previous version of elementary (Loki) I was able to hide an app with something like AppEditor and searching for that app would show it in the launcher. I quite liked this feature as I could hide rarely used system type apps like formatter, imagewriter, eddy, ect. to reduce the clutter and make more commonly used apps (but not so commonly used to warrant being in the dock) easier to find.
