Badge disappears if only part of available updates are installed

This is a fresh install of elementary OS 5 Juno Beta2

  1. AppCenter tells me that there are 4 updates available
  2. I install only one of the updates (not clicking "Update All")
  3. The bagde with the # of updates disappears and does not re-appear until AppCenter is restarted

Expected: After installation the badge should show the correct number of updates still available (3 in the example)
