E2E Broken ("Encryption not enabled") After Crash

I submitted a bug report of the crash using the built-in crash reporter, but upon opening an E2E chat all of the messages are failing to decrypt with the error ** Unable to decrypt: Encryption not enabled **. This appears to be a repeat of vector-im/riot-web#4606.

I had the exact same issue on element-desktop. Had to hard-kill element due to a freeze, and all my existing e2e chats came back with the same error as yours. Had to log out/log back in to fix it
