No way to cancel slow profile pic loading

Steps to reproduce

1. tap on a user on a remote server
2. tap on their profile pic to zoom it
3. see a Loading… spinner
4. for whatever reason, the pic doesn’t load rapidly (slow fed? auth media problems? overloaded media repos?)
5. discover there is no way to cancel.
6. have to force quit the app to continue

Outcome

What did you expect?

tapping in the background could cancel the loading operation. or the loading dialog could have a cancel button somewhere.

What happened instead?

stuck staring at a loading spinner with no escape
