Tapping on a non-existing MXID creates multiple empty rooms

Steps:

  1. Tap on start a new chat image
  2. Type in a random MXID image
  3. There is a loading spinner that doesn't go away image
  4. On killing and relaunching the app, multiple 'Empty room's are created. image
