Editing a msg makes it flicker grey

Steps to reproduce

  1. Send a msg
  2. Edit it
  3. Notice that the edited msg greys out (and then returns after a few 100ms? maybe?)

It’s the same flickering grey vibe as from https://github.com/element-hq/element-x-ios/issues/2286. It’s subtle, but it’s there.

nice crisp high contrast edits

weird slushy grey low contrast edits
