Unnecessary composer encryption state for public (rooms)
Your use case
What would you like to do?
For some reason for IOS and Android both thought it was good idea to give unnecessary information on composer about encryption state in public room which is like that by intention
We already had that in room profile information and it was enough. Annoying and making it bigger on android just for more unneccessary information?
IOS atleast made it inside
Why would you like to do it?
info room was enough This is annoying
How would you like to achieve it?
Remove it or redisgn it within placeholder
Have you considered any alternatives?
Alternative would be placeholder to say "Message" for non e2ee and different placeholder for "Enctypted message" Having lock with extended bar just warns user rather than inform it for something which is also choice of room

Are you willing to provide a PR?
No
I fully agree. Especially because there is already an indication in the message input area as to whether the message is being transmitted in encrypted or unencrypted form.
I agree.
