When you want to find the photo or pdf that was shared in a room to see a list of all files that was shared. This makes finding media easier.
How would you like to achieve it?
When you click on the room name to have a option to see all attachments.

When you know a certain file has been shared, but it was quite a while ago and you can't remember exactly when, it's very hard to find it back. Particularly in busy rooms. In the 'old' app you just click on the room name, and you'll find the option to list all files shared in that room. The new X app does provide the option to list polls, just as the old app does, but the option to list shared files is not there yet. Listing files seems to be a more commonly used feature than listing polls, so hopefully that option will be added as well.
