No Screen Share button/option in Element desktop, or Element in web browser on Linux Mint. Option was there when I chose to invite contacts, now it's not.
Steps to reproduce
- Where are you starting? What can you see? Started by using Element on tab in Brave browser.
- What do you click? EVERYTHING! Settings> sub tabs and scrolled them dots and triple dots for hours while on a couple of calls.
- More steps… Next day decided to try via Element Desktop installed via console in regularly updated latest version of Linux Mint where Element app also came with update last night... System: Kernel: 5.15.0-141-generic x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 11.4.0 Desktop: Cinnamon 6.0.4 tk: GTK 3.24.33 wm: muffin vt: 7 dm: LightDM 1.30.0 Distro: Linux Mint 21.3 Virginia base: Ubuntu 22.04 jammy

How did you install the app? In Linux console, I do not remember the exact command. It comes with updates in system updates.

Screen Share worked on 1 to 1 call before, now there is not even an option to share screen.
Answers online; "Ctrl click the phone symbol"... Holding down Ctrl button and clicking phone symbol left or right hangs up the call as expected.
Have sat through a couple of 4 hour conversations while almost constantly clicking EVERYTHING > settings, more... etc. everything, scrolling every settings tab and page in in Element desktop, web, and also running it in Thunderbird.
There simply is no share screen option.
I use no specific method to describe, share screen simply is not there.
WHERE IS SHARE SCREEN BUTTON SUPPOSED TO BE? And how to "Ctrl click the phone symbol" without hanging up?
Reply to the simple question maybe to get it moving along instead of adding a block?
