Notification with @ mention even though I wasn't @ mentioned

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have web app open
  2. Receive notification with @ mention

Outcome

What did you expect?

I'm actually @ mentioned

What happened instead?

Someone else (with the same first name) is @ mentioned

Is it possible one of those is your display name or username and you have notifications turned on for those?

I have no special trigger words listed for notifications.

@kongo09 to dig deeper on this we would need a screenshot of your Settings > Notifications as well as the View Source for the event for which you only shared the Room ID & Event ID. This event is encrypted so the only person who can get at it's source is yourself and the sender.
