Permissions change to be able to start embedded Element Call doesn't get picked up

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a private room
2. A non-admin tries to start a EC video call but fails (it's greyed out)
3. The admin gives them permission to do so:

4. The non-admin still can't start the call :/
5. They switch room - still doesn't work.
6. They restart the app - now it works.

Permission changes to be picked up immediately by EC.
