Chat exports miss thread content
Steps to reproduce
- Generate chat export from a room that contain threads
Outcome
What did you expect?
to include content from threads in the exported chat
What happened instead?
exported chat does not include content from threads
I created a room to reproduce it easily with some messages. For example, only the root message, say "thread1" is in the export, but not the messages inside the thread such as this capture:

I think logs are not needed, I think the export chat was developed prior to threads inclusion and that it was not adapted to the new situation

In addition we also can't export threads manually (one by one). Maybe this could be a first step to let us do that, as if they where a room.
Is this intended to be addressed? It's a major issue for adoption. For Matrix adoption over slack/mattermost, threads is a given and not to be able to export thread content is somewhat confounding.
Would just appreciate clarity on whether this is accepted as a gap to be addressed or not?
Chat Export was a community contribution, contributions welcome to add features to it.
