1:1 e2ee video "call is in an unknown state"

Steps to reproduce

1. video call from android (me, orange) to ios (green) in e2ee dm
2. look at room on desktop
3. "call is in an unknown state"

Can confirm, having same issue here.

same (or similar?) issue here. caller is using element-desktop 1.11.38, call receiver is using element-web 1.11.38. synapse 1.89.0. element-web user logs in, gets called: no ringing and call in unknown state. on second try it works. so only directly after login calls dont work? logs of both call sender and receiver already submitted :-)

It seems that this problem is also reproducible when two people call each other at the same time.
