Badge on spaces icon with no spaces, no obvious cause

Steps to reproduce

Idle. “1” badge on spaces icon in bottom left. (Propagates out to “1” badge on the app.)

Nothing.

No badge.

I'm observing a similar behavior. Clearing the cache and re-installing the application did not solve the issue. I've submitted an in-app issue with associated logs.
